This easy route, all on asphalt, starts from the village of Camporgiano. From the town center follow the signs for Vitoio, continuing along via di Puglianella and, after about 7 km of uphill, reach the hamlet of Roggio.
From here we descend to the dam of Lake of Vagli, under its water the ghost town of Fabbriche di Careggine lies. Occasionally the lake is emptied making the ruins of the small village resurface.
Following the provincial road you reach the village of Poggio,turning left onto the SR 445, ride back to the starting point.
