La Tintoria is located near the small village of Poggio, a hamlet in the municipality of Camporgiano in Garfagnana. The Poggio-Careggine-Vagli train station is also nearby, making the facility easily accessible by train.

The building, constructed in 1869, was originally a wool dyeing and weaving workshop. Recently renovated, it retains the charm of its history and offers a welcoming and functional environment.

The house features a bedroom with three beds, a private bathroom, a kitchen, and a reserved parking space.

A base for the Via Vandelli

La Tintoria is also a convenient base for hikers on the Via Vandelli, the historic route connecting Modena to Massa.

The route includes a stopping point in Poggio, immediately after crossing the picturesque Villetta railway bridge. The house’s location makes it particularly suitable for hikers and travelers seeking a place to stop and rest along the way.
