This tour is one of the most beautiful and easiest route of the Garfagnana valley. From Gallicano follow the road to the Grotta del Vento, pass the lake of Trombacco and turn right towards the hamlet of Vergemoli.
Once in the village, follow the beautiful panoramic road that climbs to the locality Castellaccio and the ancient mines of Trimpello and then descends first to the Grotta del Vento and to the village of Fornovolasco.
From here easily ride back to Gallicano.
